Boulder Font The Bouldering

About

...behind the scenes

The object of this website is simply to share our passion and experience of Font. We’ve pulled together all the information you’ll need to plan and enjoy your next trip into one place.

Jonathan Bean

I am Scottish website designer and photographer currently living in the Peak District, England with over a decade’s climbing experience in the UK and across Europe.

I created the original Boulder Font website in 2015 as a little pet project having been the organiser of a number of trips to Font and never found a good website with all of the information to plan and book a trip all in one place. I hoped other people would find this useful and at the same time try and educate climbers on how to look after Font and work with the local communities to preserve it for future generations.

Fabien Bronès

A French “Bleausard”(Font aficionados), with more than 20 years of climbing experience – mainly bouldering in Font. I am a Consultant in Sustainability and Innovation, and I also lived in Brazil for 15 years, which opened my eyes on the richness and exceptional quality and attractiveness of Font, and also on some of the difficulties that visitors from abroad may face when they intend to discover Font.

I joined the team in  2017, bringing my experience on Sustainability issues and connecting with the French climbing community.
